With management responsibility for a small team of analysts, this role is responsible for performance reporting and provides valuable insight.

  • Be a trusted business partner to stakeholders across the Priority Client and Sector Business Development programmes and wider Partnership, with a focus on delivering valuable insight.
  • Take ownership of existing reporting, delivering timely and accurate information to key stakeholders and the wider business, whilst also continually developing and improving the reporting suite.
  • Manage a small team of analysts, including prioritisation, coaching, objective setting and monitoring progress towards deadlines.
  • Report to the Clients and Sectors Programme Finance Lead, and drive increased financial understanding and awareness with those two key firmwide initiatives.

your areas of knowledge and expertise

  • You will have a relevant accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA).
  • You will be experienced in dealing with a variety of senior stakeholders and be confident in influencing and challenging at a senior level.
  • You will be a strong communicator who is able to distil complex information down to key takeaways and utilise multiple presentation formats to convey messages.
  • You will have experience of delivering reporting solutions in a fast-paced organisation.
  • You will be able to demonstrate experience of balancing regular deadlines with the delivery of longer-term projects and development.
  • Strong IT literacy is essential, Microsoft Power BI and Excel being the two main reporting solutions (linked to AG practice management systems).

Desirables include:

  • Prior experience of managing and developing junior team members, pathing the way for further opportunities across AG Finance.
  • Experience of the continual development and automation of reporting solutions and management information (designed to appeal to a wider (non-finance) audience).
  • Experience of working in a similar professional services environment would be helpful but is not essential.
