Highly-rated intellectual property law firm AA Thornton IP LLP has an exciting opportunity for a graduate or part-qualified trainee, to train within our team of talented patent attorneys for a career as a UK Chartered and European Patent Attorney, handling chemical inventions and specialising in organic chemistry.
The appointment of a new trainee patent attorney is part of our ongoing commitment to training and developing talent within the firm. You will have exposure to a broad range of clients who are pushing the boundaries of patentability and to work in collaboration with our talented team of attorneys and solicitors across the firm.
Our ideal candidate will have at least a first university degree in chemistry or a related subject and will have a good level of knowledge and interest in organic chemistry and pharmaceuticals. Experience/part qualification within the patent profession or within a relevant industry role is desirable, but not essential; many of our attorneys join us straight from university.
